A pin fin with length 60 mm and diameter 2 mm is attached to a wall with a temperature of 160 degrees Celsius. The fin has a thermal conductivity of 200 W/mK and is well-insulated on its end. The ambient air temperature is 20 degrees Celsius with a convection coefficient of 100 W/m^2K. 1. Can this be considered an infinite fin? Show why or why not.
2. Calculate the heat transfer from the fin.
3. Calculate the temperature immediately against the adiabat (x= 60 mm)
