Air, at a free-stream temperature of 27.0°C and a pressure of 1.00 atm, flows over the top surface of a flat plate in parallel flow with a velocity of 12.5 m/sec. The plate has a length of 2.70 m (in the direction of the fluid flow), a width of 0.65 m, and is maintained at a constant temperature of 127.0°C. Determine the heat transfer rate from the top of the plate due to forced convection. (please do not copy other answers on here they are not right)

Two flowing streams of argon gas are adiabatically mixed to form a single flow/stream. one stream is 1.5 kg/s at 400 kpa and 200 c while the second stream is 2kg/s at 500 kpa and 100 ? . it is stated that the exit state of the mixed single flow of argon gas is 150 c and 300 kpa. assuming there is no work output or input during the mixing process, does this process violate either the first or the second law or both? explain and state all your assumptions.
