A T-type thermocouple has an expected error of ± 1.0 °C or 0.75 % of the reading, with a negligible resolution error. The multimeter we have can measure from 0-320 mV ± 1.2%, with a resolution of 100 μV. At 200 °C the reading expected is 9.288 mV. What is the design stage uncertainty of this system?
