A building wall has dimensions of 3 m tall and 10 m wide. It is constructed of 2 cm. wallboard (k = 0.5 W/m-C) on the inside, 3 cm. of loose fill mineral wool (k = 0.052 W/m-C), and 10 cm. thick brick (0.7 W/m-C). The inside room temperature is 22 C and the outside air is -20 C. The inside heat transfer coefficient is 8 W/m2-C and the outside coefficient is 32 W/m2- C. a. Determine the wall heat loss (W). b. Draw the temperature profile from the inside room to the outside. Be qualitative in your drawing, no numbers necessary except for the inside and outside temperature.
