Assuming Y = 1.2 and there is a 2 mm crack present in the bone specimen, what would be the maximum tensile stress that may be applied before fracture occurs? If an average person standing on one leg has a weight of 1.4MPa, will this cause the bone to fracture with a 2 mm crack?
