Each of the following Programming Challenges can be solved by a program that performs three basic tasks- Input Data, Process Data, and Output Results. For each problem use pseudcode to design a suitable program to solve it. Be sure to identify the data type of each variable. Solve using Raptor:

Shannon and Jasmine bowl as a team. Each of them bowls three games in a tournament. They would like to know their individual averages for their three games and the team average. Allow the user to to input the scores for each player. Output Shannon's average, Jasmine's average, and the team's average. You will need the following variables:

Score1 Score2 Score 3 avgJasmine

sumShannon sumJasmine avgShannon teamAvg

You will need the following formulas:

teamAvg= (avgShannon + avgJasmine) / 2

Tom is having a problem with his washing machine. he notices that the machine vibrates violently at a frequency of 1500 rpm due to an unknown rotating unbalance. the machine is mounted on 4 springs each having a stiffness of 10 kn/m. tom wishes to add an undamped vibration absorber attached by a spring under the machine the machine working frequency ranges between 800 rpm to 2000 rpm and its total mass while loaded is assumed to be 80 kg. a) what should be the mass of the absorber added to the machine so that the natural frequency falls outside the working range? b) after a first trial of an absorber using a mass of 35 kg, the amplitude of the oscillation was found to be 10 cm. what is the value of the rotating unbalance? c) using me-3.5 kg. m, find the optimal absorber (by minimizing its mass). what would be the amplitude of the oscillation of the absorber?

Aheat pump with refrigerant-134a as the working fluid is used to keep a space at 25°c by absorbing heat from geothermal water that enters the evaporator at 500c at a rate of 0.065 kg/s and leaves at 40°c. the refrigerant enters the evaporator at 20°c with a quality of 23 percent and leaves at the inlet pressure as saturated vapor. the refrigerant loses 300 w of heat to the surroundings as it flows through the compressor and the refrigerant leaves the compressor at 1.4 mpa at the same entropy as the inlet. determine: (a) the degrees of subcooling of the refrigerant in the condenser, b)-the mass flow rate of the refrigerant . (c) the heating load and the cop of the pump, and d)-the theoretical minimum power input to the compressor for the same heating load.
