Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), commonly known as propane (C3H8) is a combustible hydrocarbon based fuel. It comes from refining crude oil and natural gas. At normal pressure and temperatures above -44°F propane remains in its gaseous form. At higher pressures and/or lower temperature propane will become liquid.
