A 3-phase 480-Volt circuit has a positive-sequence Y-connected source and supplies a delta-connected load. The impedance of the lines between the source and load is negligible. The angle of V is O/ and the phase impedance of the load is 20 - 8 Ohms. a) Draw the circuit. Label the value of the phase voltages at the source. Label nodes A, B, and Label the line currents I I, and I. Label the L-L voltages at the load: VA, Vac, and Vca Label the phase currents at the load: IA, I c, and I b) Determine the phasor values of the L-L voltages at the load. Draw the closed voltage phasor diagram for the system, showing all L-L and L-N voltages. c) Determine the phasor value of the line currents. d) Determine the phasor value of the phase currents in the source and the load. e) Calculate the complex power S that is consumed by the load and draw the power triangle. f) What is the power factor of the load?
