The storativity of a confined aquifer is found to be 1.8 x 10-4 as a result of a pumping test. The thickness of the aquifer is 50m and the porosity of the aquifer is 0.25. Determine the fractions of the expansibility of the water and the compressibility of the aquifer skeleton in making up the storativity of the aquifer. Assuming water is at 15ºC. The compressibility of water is 4.673x10-10 m2/N.
