A rigid tank contains liquid water and water vapor with an initial total internal energy of 500 kJ. During the process over 1 minute, 900 kJ of energy are transferred into the system from a burner and 50 A of electrical current was supplied to the resistor at the voltage of 110 V. As a result, 800 kJ are transferred from water to the surrounding air.(a) What kind of work interaction is present in this process? Consider the walls of the rigid tank as the system.
(b) Is this process adiabatic?
(c) After this process the volume of the tank will change?
(d) Calculate the final internal energy of the water contained in the tank (neglect the energy stored in the tank walls).
