Build the circuit. Write code that meets the code requirements and controls the hardware to meet the specified system requirements. Do not try to complete this in one try and in one code. Code part of it, test it, make sure that the parts you included work (many part already work since the previous Task 1's were set up to assist you in this project). Once you have a working code. Save it and never make changes to the code again. Instead, copy the code only and paste it into a new blank sketch. Make additions and changes to this new sketch only. Again, once it is to a point where additions have been made and it is working well, save it and never change that code again. This is done for many reasons. First, it helps if you make a mistake later in the code and you try to undo it. Instead of trying to remember the changes and move it back to where it used to be, just re copy the last version into a new sketch. Secondly, it shows the progression of your work. This is good when trying to show you understand something (such as trying to get a good grade). It will also help when showing people (clients, boss, etc.) that your method is the best it can be (currently). It will show that you tested, have made changes and modifications, and shows that you understand that it may need changes in the future. Save everything from that you do for this project, all versions of code, lots of pictures, pictures of paper work (top down designs, flowcharts, etc.), and narrated videos.
