Draw a simple ERD diagram for each of the following examples. Include proper maximum and minimum cardinality. Include one attribute besides keys. 1. Sandy’s Car Lot has several salesmen who sell a variety of used automobiles to customers. When sold, each auto is credited (sold by) to only one salesperson. A customer may buy more than one automobile, but an automobile, if sold, is sold to only one customer.
2. The National Park Service has almost three hundred parks and monuments and other areas (like National Historical Sites, National Memorials, etc.). These areas are located and administered through twelve territories (each area is in one and only one territory). Each park service area has several staff that work there; a staff member may work in more than one area. Thus, staff employees who work at Arches National Park in Utah may also work at Canyonlands National Park nearby.
3. A zoo wants to keep track of animal types (bobcat, tiger, elephant, etc.) and where they are caged. This is a special zoo. Each animal type has its own cage by itself, and a cage may have only one animal type.

5.a fishing rod is formed from a composite material of 0.5 kg of glass fibers embedded in a matrix of 0.5 kg of epoxy resin. the glass fibers are assumed to be long, continuous and unidirectional. to achieve a greater stiffness it is proposed to use a different composite that is comprised of long continuous carbon fibers that will be embedded in a matrix of 0.5 kg of epoxy resin. if the modulus of elasticity of the carbon fiber composite is 10% greater than the elastic modulus of the glass fiber composite, estimate the mass of carbon fibers that will be used to make the carbon fiber composite. assume the applied tensile stress is parallel to the direction of the long axis of the fibers. the epoxy resin, glass fiber, and carbon fiber have an elastic modulus of 5, 86, and 350 gpa respectively and a density of 1100, 2500, and 1800 respectively.

Develop the program incrementally: a) start by reading and displaying each line of the input file to make sure you are reading the data set correctly. b) use the split string method to extract information from each line into a list. print the list to prove that this step is working correctly. d) convert the exam scores to type int and calculate the student’s average. display those items to prove this step is working correctly. e) create a tuple containing the six items for each student (name, exam scores, exam mean). display the tuples to prove this step is working correctly. (optionally, you may want to have the exam scores in a list so your tuple is (name, scores_list, f) append each tuple to a list. display the list to prove this step is working correctly. g) use the sort list method to re-order the tuples in the list. display the list to prove this step is working correctly. h) use a for statement to display the contents of the list as a table (with appropriate formatting). i) use a for statement to calculate the average of all scores on exam #1, then display the results. note that you could have calculated this average within the first loop, but we are explicitly requiring you to do this calculation by looping though your list of tuples. j) add the logic to calculate the average of all scores on exam #2, then display the results.
