You have begun a new project and want to keep all of the work you're doing on the project in its own directory. you will create a new directory within the my documents folder. how do you create the new directory?
click on the new folder icon in the file menu.
double-click on new folder in the start menu.
name the directory.
select new directory from the insert menu.
click and drag the file to another folder -> to move a file
click and press Ctrl+C -> to copy a file
locate the file and double-click on it -> to open a file
and click on the file name once -> to rename a file
All of these are basic file manipulation techniques when working with a desktop or laptop computer. To move a file, you should simply click on the file and drag it to the desired folder. To copy a file, you could either right-click and select "Copy", or simply click and pres Ctrl+C. To open a file, you should simply double-click on it. To rename a file, you should click on the file once, wait a very brief moment and click once again.
hope it helps
For many people the time in which they have to do two quick clicks of the left mouse button is too short.
There is an option to adjust the double-click speed. This can be done on the Buttons tab, under Double-click speed.
Double-click on New Folder in the Start menu.
Click on the New Folder icon in the File menu.
Select New Directory from the Insert menu.
