Write a Java program that generates the second, third, and fourth powers of a list of whole numbers from 1 to n where n is input by the user. Write a Java program to do this. • First, ask the user for the largest of the whole numbers to use (n). • Second, output column headers (see below, n, n^2, n^3, n^4). • Then, use a for loop to iterate from 1 to n, computing each of that loop variable to the second power, third power and fourth power, respectively. NB: The values should be stored in a 2dimensional array. Display the values as shown below: Sample output

Write a function processpeople() that takes the name of a file as a parameter. each line of the file corresponds to information about a person. in particular a line contains either a name (in the form lastname, firstname with no spaces in it) or a name (lastname, firstname) and a year. the function will process the file, creating a person object for each line in the file. the function will print information about each line as it processes it, as well as appending the new person object into a list. make sure to use person methods to display information rather than recreating the work you did for the first problem. once the entire file has been processed, the function returns the list of person objects created from the file. if the file is empty, the function should return an empty list. if the input file cannot be opened, the function should print a message to that effect and then return an empty list. the following shows what would be displayed for two example files which have been provided in the link. the file none. txt does not exist. note that your function must work on an arbitrary file that consists of valid lines. you cannot assume anything about the file except that it contains lines that have the format described above.

Consider a slotted aloha system, where the time slot equals the fixed duration of each packet. assume that there are 4 stations a, b,c, d sharing the medium. (a) stations a, b,c, d receive one packet each from higher layers at times 1.3, 1.5, 2.6,5.7 respectively. show which transmissions take place when, according to the slottedaloha protocol; describe all transmissions until all four packets have been successful. when needed, each station has access to the following sequence of random number, provided by a random number generator and drawn uniformly between 0 and 1: (1) station a draws numbers: 0.31, 0.27, 0.78, 0.9, 0.9, 0.11, 0. (2) station b draws numbers: 0.45, 0.28, 0.11, 0.83, 0.37, 0.22, 0. (3)station c draws numbers: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0. (4) station d draws numbers: 0.36, 0.77, 0.9, 0.1, 0.1, 0.1, 0.1, 0. (b) in slotted aloha, a station transmits in each time slot with a given probability. what probabilities would you assign to each of the four stations so as to: (i) maximize the efficiency of the protocol? (ii) maximize fairness among the four stations? (c) will the efficiency increase or decrease if we modify slotted aloha as follows: (i) get rid of slots and allow stations to transmit immediately? (ii) implement carrier sensing? (iii) implement collision detection? (iv) implement collision avoidance?
