Acritique is an art form itself. it is the art of criticism. it is a constructive aid that an artist improve with each new work. it is not meant to be offensive and should not be mistaken as an opportunity to criticize a person’s character. you are to maintain a professional and polite demeanor during critiques. so, to prepare yourself for a critique do the following:
complete a reflection for the following topics as they relate to your own work. provide facts and evidence to support your opinions. type the critique for your own work. all attending students will verbalize these same topics during the individual critique.
describe: describe what you intended – colors, size, shapes.
analyze: try to describe the process for how it is made
apply: describe the ways it meets the project requirement
associate: what does it remind you of?
compare: to what is it similar? in what way is it unique?
arguments: take a stand, have an opinion. how could it be better?

after you have evaluated your own work then create a second document and do the same for your assigned partner and the share that document with them. you will post both here but will be graded on your self evaluation.
