During lab investigation, robert was given 5 samples of different metals. each sample was the same color and had the same volume. he was asked to determine which of the 5 samples was copper. based on robert's knowledge of physical properties of matter, describe how he can do this.

- Density could be used here as identifying physical property.

Explanations:- Take the known mass of the sample and put it in a cylinder filled with water. Note down the increase in water level. It would be the volume of the sample.

We know that, density = mass/volume

So, from the mass and volume, we could calculate the density of each sample and see whose calculated density is same as the density of copper given in the appendix(density table).
