In groups of no more than 4. Use your notes from cellular respiration and photosynthesis to draw a diagram of carbon dioxide
(CO 2 ) and oxygen (O 2 ) in the environment. Your diagram must include at least one animal and one
plant. You will be graded for having each of the following in place and correct:
- All raw materials of cellular respiration and how animals get those materials
- All products of cellular respiration
- All raw materials of photosynthesis and how plants get those materials
- All products of photosynthesis
- Arrows indicating whether substances are moving in or out of organisms
Example: One part of my drawing would show O 2 from the environment entering an animal when it
inhales by an arrow from O 2 in the environment to the animal’s nose. How did the O 2 get in the
environment?
