Explanation:

When God came down to Earth, only one mortal question was allowed to be asked.

All of humanity debated the biggest questions in their simple lives, like what they were meant to do in their existences, or how to cure cancer and pollution. but they were interrupted by a connoisseur of life stuff.

All other humans were silenced and one question rang out above all others:

“When milk is added to cereal, is it a beverage, a broth, or a sauce?”

Mortals were du.m.bfou.nded, deities were confused, but God’s voice rang out, clear and loud all across the land.

“Since milk and cereal is considered a meal, it can, therefore not be considered a beverage, as a beverage is, by definition, not a meal on its own.

A broth is created by letting an ingredient simmer in a liquid so that it absorbs the flavor of the ingredient, and since the actual cereal is not boiled in the milk, nor is milk created by simmering something, the milk can not be considered a broth.

I guess, since a sauce is a liquid with another flavor added to a meal to enhance and add flavor, milk can be considered sauce in the context of breakfast cereal, but it just sounds weird when you say it like that.

Also, this is a good, slightly weird, question.”

And God’s voice was recorded in the scriptures, to be praised by all humanity, to be passed on throughout history, except one d.um.b.a.ss sadly spilled milk on it while eating cereal and reading the scroll one morning.

God’s words, I’m telling you. Take ’em to heart.

It made me rethink all of my life choices because milk in cereal can actually be considered a sauce if added in small quantities.

“Does that mean milk can also be considered soup-”
