3. A student at your lab table is trying to solve a problem and asks for your help. They have 3 different compounds X, Y, and Z. Each chemical bottle is labeled but only mentions the elements
contained within. All three bottles say "this compound contains nitrogen, oxygen, and chlorine".
The student asks you if it's safe to assume that these compounds are all the same thing. They
then ask what information they would need to know for sure.
What advice would you give to this student? Give them specific steps they should follow.
