As part of a study on factors that influence respiration rate, a scientist sets up an experiment to see whether external
water temperature is related to the rate of respiration in fish. She performs the test on 10 goldfish at four temperatures.
The scientist counts the number of gill movements for each fish at each temperature for 1 minute. The rate of oxygen
intake can be indirectly measured by observing the rate at which the gill flap opens and closes. Afterward, she averages
the data for each temperature and creates the following graph.
