Read the following passage: Wind and water carry sand, debris, and small pieces of rocks and deposit them in layers. These layers pile up and after many years form a single rock called Rock A. The movement of tectonic plates buries Rock A deep inside Earth. Heat and pressure change the mineral composition of Rock A and transform it into Rock B. Rock B comes out to the surface of Earth due to plate movements.
