During photosynthesis plants utilize the solar energy and convert it into chemical energy of food in the form of glucose
(CH220). In doing so, plant roots uptake water from the soil
and transport it to the leaves. Leaves in turn absorb carbon
dioxide from the air. The reaction takes place in leaf cells, in
special organelles called chloroplasts. Oxygen gas is an essential
byproduct of photosynthesis.
Using Table I, determine the heat of reaction of photosynthesis.
Briefly explain your reasoning.
