What makes hydrogen peroxide a polar molecule?

Each hydrogen peroxide molecule contains 2×O−H bonds.

As in water, the O−H bonds are polar, i.e there is substantial charge separation. Of course, the O−O bond itself is non-polar so that when we assign oxidation states to this molecule, we have H+I and O−I. Nevertheless, we would rightly predict that hydrogen peroxide is polar.

A polar molecule has a partial positive charge in one part of the molecule and complementary negative charge in another part.and hydrogen peroxide fits that description.
