Based on how heat is transferred, why does opening a window cool down a room?

The process of heat transfer is either through radiation, conduction, or radiation. By opening a window to cool down a room on a hot day, you would be reducing the heat conduction.

Ithink this is what you meant. the temperature at which a liquid begins to boil is called the boiling point. the boiling point of water is 212°f or 100°c.  and at that point will start to turn into steam (gas)
