Andrea is investigating the effects of light intensity and carbon dioxide
concentration on the rate of photosynthesis. She measured the rate of
photosynthesis at different light intensities for two identical plants. The plants
were placed in closed containers. One container had an initial carbon dioxide
concentration of 0.40%. The other container had an initial carbon dioxide
concentration of 0.03%. She plotted her results as shown below.
