In the lab, Michael and George are bored and decide that they must know the density of
the iron chloride solution they used in lab. Michael first finds the mass of the empty
graduated cylinder to be 36.70 g. He then lets George fill the graduated cylinder with
the solution until it contains 25.0 mL of iron chloride. Michael then takes the mass of
the graduated cylinder containing the solution and he finds the new mass to be 109.20
g. What is the density of the iron chloride?

Calculate the estimated density of each ball. use the formula d = m/v where d is the density, m is the mass, and v is the volume. record your calculations in table a of your student guide. given that the density of water is 1.0 g/cm3, make a prediction about whether each ball will float in water. record your prediction in table a. what is the estimated density of the table tennis ball? record your answer to the nearest hundredth
