Two populations of flowers are growing in fields on either side of a river. One population is wild and affected by natural selection while the other is
selectively bred by a farmer. A scientist proposes one way to determine
how they are different would be to simulate a drought for 5 years for each
filed. They scientist thinks that if there was a drought, there would be more
variation in the survival of the wild plants than the artificial plants. Some
wild plants would live and some would die. In the artificial population, most
