Absolute zero is the lowest possible temperature where nothing could be colder and no heat energy remains in a substance. This means that the molecules are barely vibrating. Internationally, it has been agreed that absolute zero is equivalent to 0K on the Kelvin scale, or -273.15 degrees Celsius. Change the temperature unit of measurement to Kelvins (K). Use the temperature switch to lower the temperature to as close to absolute zero (0K) as possible. What do you observe?
