Yes, they are linked together. Democritus was a Greek philosopher who said that matter is made up of very small particles. Whereas, Dalton was a British Chemist who gave a few essential postulates explaning the idea of Democritus. It mainly describes about atoms.In this way, they are linked or grouped together.
