A 100. kmol/hr stream that is 96.0 mole% Carbon Tetrachloride (CCl4) and 4.0 mole% Carbon Disulfide (CS2) is to be produced from the bottom of a distillation column. The feed to the column is 83.0 mole% CCl4 and 17.0 mol% CS2 ,and 2.5 mol% of the CCl4 entering the column is recovered in the overhead stream leaving the top of the column. What is the mole fraction of CCl4 in the stream that is leaving the top of the distillation column?
