The tolerance stated on a 100 mL measuring cylinder is 100+1 mL. While such a measuring cylinder was appropriate for making up the NaOH solutions, it would not have been appropriate for accurate dilution of your “vinegar”. What level of uncertainty would it introduce to your calculations if you measured out 100 mL, 10 mL or 1 mL using the 100 ml measuring cylinder (as a % of the measured volume)?
