If one is standing in flowing water and thicker liquid, it will be easier to resist the force of the thicker liquid in comparison to water .

It is so because the thicker liquid has an internal resistance that acts when the liquid is in motion, and it is easy to oppose the motion of thicker liquid while water do not have internal resistance and it become harder to resist teh force.
