Can someone help me in understanding the equations for finding molarity.
These are the equations that I’m given:
Moles of solute= (liters of solution) x (molarity of solution)
(Initial concentrations) x (initial volume) = (final concentration) x (final volume)
Or C1 V1 = C2 V2
Here is an example exercises if y’all need it to explain. No rush :)
1. Calculate the molarity of the solution.
29g of NaCl in 0.25 liters of water. (The molecular weight is 54.44 g/mole)
M
2. The molecular weight of NaCl is 58.44g/mol. If you had a 1.0 molar solution (1.0M), you would have to put 58.44g of salt in 1.0 liter of solution.
How many moles of NaCl would you have in 10.0 mL of this solution?

Read these sentences from the text. near the equator, the tropics receive the most rain on a consistent basis. as a result, the fresh water falling into the ocean decrease the salinity of the surface water in that region. [. .] . . as the salt content of sea water increases, so does its density. what can you infer about how rain affects the density of surface water near the equator?

Cryolite, na3alf6(s), an ore used in the production of aluminum, can be synthesized using aluminum oxide. start this question by first balance the chemical equation.1.) balance the equation: - alo3(s)+naoh(l)+hf(> na3alf6+h2o(g). 2.) if 17.5 kilograms of al2o3(s), 51.4 kilograms of naoh(l), and 51.4 kilograms of hf(g) react completely, how many kilograms of cryolite will be produced? 3.)which reactants will be in excess, (al2o3, naoh, or hf) 4.)what is the total mass of the excess reactants left over after the reaction is complete in kg?
