Angela is a serious basketball player, but lately she has been struggling. First, her legs started getting tired halfway through practice. Next, her bones started aching. This week, she feels like she can’t even take a full breath.

Angela goes to see Dr. Chao. “I feel like my whole body is falling apart. How can there be so many different things going wrong with me at the same time?” Angela asks. Dr. Chao does a physical exam and asks Angela to take a few deep breaths. “Actually,” the doctor responds, “there’s only one small thing wrong with your lungs. Fortunately, there is a medicine that will improve all your symptoms right away.”

How can a problem in Angela’s lungs cause problems all over her body?

Answer asap need to be answered by wednesday morning explain how a buffer works, using an ethanoic acid / sodium ethanoate system including how the system resists changes in ph upon addition of a small amount of base and upon addition of a small amount of acid respectively. include the following calculations in your i. calculate the ph of a solution made by mixing 25cm3 0.1m ch3cooh and 40cm3 0.1m ch3coo-na+. [ka = 1.74 x 10-5 m] ii. calculate the ph following the addition of a 10cm3 portion of 0.08 m naoh to 500cm3 of this buffer solution. iii. calculate the ph following the addition of a 10cm3 portion of 0.08 m hcl to 200cm3 of the original buffer solution.

Consider the reaction: 2al(s) + fe2o3(s) → al2o3(s) + 2fe(s) the δhf for fe2o3(s) = -824.3 kj/mole. the δhf for al2o3(s) = -1675.7 kj/mole. finish the equation. δhrxn = [(1)( kj/mole) + (2)( kj/mole)] - [(1)( kj/mole) + (2) ( kj/mole)]
