In the first test tube, place 1 – 2 g of CuSO4  5 H2O. 2. Gently heat the bottom of the test tube. Observe the changes that occur. Why does the color change? Why is condensation occurring at the top of the tube? What is the chemical reaction that describes the color change, and accounts for the condensation? Is this an exothermic or endothermic reaction? Why?
