A scientific method is a systematic approach to explain any natural phenomenon.
The scientific method involves the sequential steps which initiate with:
1. Making an observation: which involves the senses of the researcher.
2. Asking a question: which can be answered and have the real answer.
3. Do background research: which provides the evidence to question.
4. Propose a hypothesis: an important step in which a statement is predicted based on the background research which explains the phenomenon to a limited extent and can be tested.
5. perform the experiments: the experiments are performed to test and prove-disprove the hypothesis.
6. collecting the data: the result is collected from the experiment
7. analysis of the result: the result is analysed which acts as evidence to the hypothesis
8. conclusion: Conclusion is drawn from the result which may or may not support the hypothesis
9. communicating the result to the scientific community: the results are shared to the peer-reviewed journal where they are verified.
