It facilitates the planets to revolve around the sun. Gravity depends upon the mass of the body. The more the mass of the body, the more the gravitational force. The inner planets have less gravitational force than the outer planets. On the other hand, the Gravitational pull is stronger in the inner planets than the outer planets.
