Whats the diffrence between old rocks and new rocks in the sobduction zone near the continent volcanoes

Most material that is attached to the down-going plate is like recycled, there is where the new crust is generated. The old rock is sink down and can't be easily be found. The new rock is the rock that comes with the new crust that is generated. Other materials that can be found on the new rock is the one called "ore". Hope this Helps
