We know, activity A is:
A = 0.693 / t1/2 N₀
[t1/2 : half life time and N₀ : initial number of atoms]
t1/2 of K-40 = 1.28 x 10⁹ years
    = 4.04 x 10¹⁶ seconds
So A = (0.693 / 4.04 x 10¹⁶) * (8.4 x 10¹⁹ ) = 1441 cps
