Why do companies tend to thrive in global markets when their country of origin enjoys a comparative advantage in their industry ?

If your company competes in global markets, then you have more markets to tap since your country holds an edge over most of the other companies around the world in the same industry. Look at it this way, if your country of origin is the top producer in a certain industry, then it is only natural that a company that comes from that country of origin will do well in the global market since he is part of the country that is a top player in that industry.
