Social skills are so important, especially in regard to purpose. When you have social awareness you attract people to your life, vision, and purpose. Without people no dream is possible, and that is why expanding these skills is paramount to your success. A few aspects that we discussed in this module are 1. social awareness, 2. perspective-taking, 3. empathy, 4. appreciating diversity, and 5. respect for others. Think about how someone like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. created movement and change within America by bringing equal rights and equality to the nation and how social skills helped him maneuver to success. Please write explanations on how you see Dr. King utilizing the five different aspects of social awareness above in his life to create the movement and bring greater equality in the United States.
