Cindy works as a clerk for a discount store. Her father worked for a textile mill. The mill closed because it could not compete with products imported from other nations. Cindy's parents are bitter. They think her father lost his job because of "cheap foreign products." Cindy sees a different side to the story where she works. Every day, customers buy inexpensive goods that are imported from other countries. Cindy can't decide how she should feel about selling these items. Should she be angry because her father lost his job? Should she be appreciative that she and other consumers don't have to pay higher prices? What advice would you give Cindy?
