She has found an original-remains fossil .  Original remains can be changed, as minerals in nearby sediments are stored into the porous areas of an animal’s hard parts (teeth in this instance) after the soft parts have decayed. This happens with  dinosaur bones and teeth. 

Cell division is important to single celled organisms because it allows the cells to reproduce. through cell division, cells make exact copies of themselves. when single celled organisms go through cell division, they make exact copies of themselves which is how they reproduce.
