How does urine osmolarity compare between the two treatment groups?

The urine osmolality is the measurement of urine absorption, which substantial values indicate concerted urine and small values specify weaken urine. Any foods that contained water also affects the osmolality of urine.  Some of the mammals are competent of higher osmolality than healthy humans, most especially the rats, hamsters, and mice if given no water.

Osmolality is measured by an osmometer, which evaluates the freezing point depression of a solution and gives results as milliosmol per kilogram of water, while specific gravity is measured by a colorimetric strip, refractometer, hydrometer, and pycnometer.

Urine osmolality is a measure of urine concentration, where large values ​​indicate concentrated urine and small values ​​indicate runny urine. Water consumption (including water contained in food) affects urine osmolality. In healthy humans with limited fluid intake, urine osmolality must be greater than 800 mOsm / kg, while 24-hour urine osmolality must average between 500 and 800 mOsm / kg.

Urinary osmolality in humans can range from around 50 to 1,200 mOsm / kg, depending on whether the person has recently drunk large amounts of water (lower amounts) or has been without water for a long time (higher amounts). Plasma osmolality with a typical fluid intake often averages around 290 mOsm / kg H 2 O in humans.

the study states that the main stimulus that stimulates ADH expenditure during exercise is an increase in osmolarity pressure caused by the release of sweat and moisture through excessive respiration. If the osmolarity of body fluids increases above normal the solutes in the body fluid become concentrated, the posterior pituitary gland will secrete more ADH. This situation allows the reabsorbtion of large amounts of water and a decrease in urine volume but does not significantly change the rate of excretion dissolved by the kidneys.
