In physical science there are different graphs to explain different things which graphs explains what?

Okay so read the following below

Bar Graphs--
These kind of graphs are usually used for showing how things changed over a set of times or generally comparing items... There are "Bars" , thats why its called a bar graph

Line Graphs---
Line graphs are basically graphs but not like bargraphs, because there are no bars.Instead , there are "lines". thats why its called a Line graph. A line graph is used to show how a certain thing changes over a course/ period of time.

Scatter plots--
So scatter plots are a bit different, they are kind of like line graph,only there is no line. Its a bunch of dots "scattered" on a table with an X and Y axis. It shows  how a specific certain thing or element  or variable is affected by another variable or element and how much exactly..
