How can evidence from an experiment be explained in relationship to the hypothesis

Experiments are carried out to test hypothesis. if for a given experiment the evidence supports your hypothesis then you write it down in the results and conclude also call the alternate hypothesis. however if the evidence does not agree with it you can run the experiment again. change your approach or finally disagree with your hypothesis often called the null hypothesis.
