This process of photosynthesis occurs in the thylakoid membrane (light dependent reaction) and stroma (light independent reaction) of the CHLOROPLAST.

In the presence of oxygen, it occurs in three stages; Glycolysis, Kreb's cycle, and Oxidative phosphorylation in which the last two occurs in MITOCHONDRIA of plant cells.
