Me i will rate high needs to be correct sponges and corals grow on the same type of substrate. what type of interaction is most likely between them? commensalism, because sponges can be consumed by corals, but corals do not benefit in any way. competition, because they compete to grow on the same space and both species would do better if the other were not present. mutualism, because the presence of sponges corals to grow and the presence of corals sponges to grow. predation, because corals can consume sponges, but there is no benefit of corals to sponges.
