Where does fruit develop from? is fruit unique to flowering plants?

Fruit comes from many different places it can grow on plants, just like apples grow on trees and it depends on what kind of fruit because some can grow of flowers like strawberries, figs, raspberries, and many more.  

I believe it would be something called the Ovules because this is a type of tissue in a plant that would help reproduce as humans do. Let me know if that helped.
