Seafood Watch is a program that identifies sustainably harvested, ocean-friendly seafood in order to (B) allow consumers to make environmentally responsible choices.

It makes advisories and it follows the impacts that ocean harvested foods do to the ecosystem and agriculture.

There are three levels to the advisory on which fishes should be consumed based on which are the most overharvested to the minimally harvested and/or have a negative impact on the ecosystem and agriculture when they are harvested.

Those choices are "Best Choice" ; "Alternative Choice" and "Avoid".
